Introduction to Off Camera Flash Speedlights Workshop is a photography course held by Nigel Fleming Photography at his commercial studio in Dungannon, and a nearby location.
This is a one day photography course, which is usually held on a given Sunday, and runs from 12 – 5pm.
The first part of the day is spent in the studio, looking at how and why to get the flash off camera. Also camera and flash settings, light positioning, TTL vs manual flash, lighting modifiers etc. Emphasis in placed on ensuring attending photographers gain the knowhow to confidently use off camera flash.
Everything is explained in a jargon free way, and is demonstrated live so you can see it all in action.
Places are limited to 6 to 8. This ensures all questions are answered, and providing ample time for each photographer to photograph each lighting setup during the afternoon practical session.

The second part of the day is spent outdoors at a nearly location. This is your opportunity to put it all into practise with the workshop model. There’s no better way to learn than with your own camera in hand. Full feedback, and corrective advice will be given as you work.
During the afternoon we will fit in as many different lighting setups as we can.
The outdoor practical afternoon session also gives the attending photographers great photos to take away from the workshop, and edit to use in their portfolio.
Some light lunch/tea/coffee is also provided during a break.
