Recently when in B&Q I came across what was quite a budget venetian blind. Having seen these used in a photography context, I decided to buy one of these blinds and give it a go myself.
I fixed the blind to the wall in my studio, and was very pleased with the effect of the lighting pattern it created. It’s definitely something with more creative uses to be explored, though I suspect overall it is a novelty type effect and its longterm use as a studio prop will be limited. At £20 though it was well worth it!
Thanks to Ruta for modelling for the lighting experiment using the blind.
Lovely work as usual!
And thank you as usual for your kind comments Ciaran. Really appreciated.
