This workshop is held by Nigel Fleming Photography, at his commercial studio in Dungannon, Northern Ireland.
A one day photography workshop, which is usually held on a given Sunday, and runs from 12 – 5pm.
Everything is demonstrated live using Lightroom connected to a large 42″ HD display screen.
Initially spend the first part of the day with an overview of what Lightroom offers, and why it’s the complete workflow and RAW photo editing solution.
From there we take a detailed look at the Library module.
Learn how to quickly and easily create a Lightroom Catalog, and how to make a folder structure tailored to your own individual needs, based on your type of photography.
Learn how to import photos, organise them, and quickly select them down to those you would like to edit.
Take a detailed look at the most commonly used and useful features within the Library module.

Following a break, the second half of the day is spent solely on the Develop module (RAW photo editing).
See how to get the best possible detail from your RAW files. Several RAW file photos will be edited using the Lightroom Develop adjustments. See the before and after photo edit comparisons. All photo editing is done live on-screen so you can see it for yourself.
Master the most commonly used adjustments during a detailed look at the develop module. Also discover some more creative possibilities within the Develop Module to create images with impact.
Learn how to use Lightroom Presets, and how to create your own Presets based on your photography style and preferences.
See how to quickly and easily sync settings across multiple photos.
Comprehensive notes and step by step detailed instructions are available to take home for both Windows and Mac users.
Some light lunch/tea/coffee is also provided during a break.
